Turkey visit visa from Dubai

Last Updated: Monday, 24/05/2023

Turkey is a country that spans two continents. Most of it is in Western Asia, on the Anatolian Peninsula, and some in Southeast Europe, on the Balkan Peninsula.Istanbul, the country's biggest city, is on both the Asian and European sides of the Bosphorus Strait. This gives the city a wonderful world flavour, while its Byzantine and Roman roots give it a great sense of history.

In addition to being one of the world's most populated cities, Istanbul also won the prestigious title of "European Capital of Culture" in 2010.

Even during the pandemic, Turkey never changed its policy of keeping its borders open to tourists from other countries. This is a good place to go on vacation if you want to visit a place rich in culture and has some more unusual things to do. Since the number of people affected by COVID-19 has gone down a lot and we are no longer in the middle of a pandemic, many tourists want to visit Turkey to experience its rich culture and natural beauty.

Weather

When is the best time to visit Istanbul?

Summer has the highest temperatures, the most hours of sunshine, and the least rain, so it's the best time for people who like hot weather and lots of sunshine.

If you want to go when the weather is more bearable, you should go in late spring or early fall. It doesn't rain as often during these times, and the weather is more pleasant. Even though the winters are often warm and there is a higher chance of rain, there are still a lot of buildings to check out.

Because the city is surrounded by water from the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara, it fogs up and mists up often, no matter the time of year.

Spring

Spring starts cool, with normal daily highs of 11.6°C in March. By May, the usual high temperature is 22°C, with sunshine for about 8 hours daily.

When people come in the spring, they should be ready for it to rain. It rains an average of 58 mm in March, but in April, it only rains about 43 mm.

Summer

The usual high temperature in June is a pleasant 27 degrees Celsius, but it rises to 29.8 degrees Celsius in July, the hottest month. On average, only 19 millimetres of rainfall in July, the wettest summer month.

In July, visitors to Istanbul can expect about 12 hours of sunshine each day. There are about ten hours of sunshine each day in June and August.

Autumn

Since the beginning of October, the temperature has been slowly going down. In September, the average high temperature each day is a pleasant 25.4 degrees Celsius.

In October, the average high temperature drops to 20.2 degrees Celsius. The amount of sun that comes out each day also goes down, and by November, tourists may only see four hours of sun every day.

In November, the usual high temperature is only 14.9 degrees Celsius, and there is a higher chance of rain throughout the month. On average, 69 millimetres of rain falls in November.

Winter in Istanbul

The winter season brings lower temperatures to the city, with monthly average highs falling below 10 degrees Celsius during January and February. The coldest month is January, with daily average highs averaging only 8.6 degrees Celsius.

Although temperatures are higher in December, with an average of 10.8 degrees Celsius, this month also has the highest rainfall quantities, with an average of 85 millimetres. During the winter, visitors will probably only have access to three hours of sunshine daily.
